Weipa Open
Love your golf? Weipa has a terrific 9-hole, 18-tee golf course that's open 365 days a year. The highlight of the calendar is the two-day Weipa Open tournament, which usually attracts a field of more than 100 golfers (male and female).
Usually held on the first weekend in May, the 2020 Weipa Open was cancelled due to COVID-19, but should return in 2021. If you're visiting Weipa at this time, bring your clubs and make sure you nominate in advance.
