Weipa Bullride
Giddy up Weipa because this event always draws a bumper crowd. The 2021 edition will be the first staged at the revamped Weipa Showgrounds and promises to be spectacular.
The Weipa Bullride is always complemented by a band and the novelty events are a smash hit.
There's something for people of all ages, too. The poddy calf event usually draws about 50 young riders.
